What is the theme of this year's hackathon?

This year's hackathon will revolve on the theme: Building Better Technical Solutions For Our Community. The Hackathon will require solutions built on issues such as:

  • • Technology in Health Care.
  • • Technology in Education.
  • • Smart Cities.
  • • Technology in Retail.
Who is eligible?
  • • Registered Students from universities
  • • A Team of individuals with an idea that will solve the community problem
  • • A Team of individuals who will be in Arusha during the Hackathon
  • • A Team of individuals not more than 5 and not less than 2.
Where will it be held?

The hackathon would be held at Institute of Accountacy Arusha.

When will the hackathon be?

The hackathon will commence on Friday the 7th of February, 2020 at 7:30am. Be there as early as possible, so you can get an ample time to build your project. As for futher updates after registering for the hackathon, we'll reach out to you.

What should I carry when attending the hackathon?

We recommend you carry with you a notebook, pen and a laptop and anything necessary for you to build your solution with your team. Most importantly, carry along a healthy dose of curiosity and enthusiasm.
